About my classes

The aim of Yoga and Pilates is to bring balance back to the body and mind by improving strength, flexibility and focus through the connection of movement and breath. Yoga and Pilates are a complement to each other but can also be practiced separately.

My Yoga teaching is influenced and inspired by my ballet and Pilates training: attention to detail, focus on healthy body alignment and breath and core connection are the pillars of my practice. Mindfulness informs my teaching throughout each class. Time for a guided Mindfulness meditation is given to close each lesson.

I believe it is paramount to ensure that the Yoga postures I guide you through will serve you on your journey off the mat. Because of that, my classes will take you through a functional balance of strength and flexibility building postures whilst I encourage you to use the breath as an anchor to the present moment.

A course of individual classes will start with an initial consultation to identify your personal requirements. This will then be followed by a personalised class plan to nurture your progressive development.
